One of the most important things to living a long and happy life is to develop the habit of being grateful for what we have and forgive people who have hurt us. I have been hurt many times before and held a grudge for way too long and now know that it feels so much better once you forgive that person.

Forgiveness is a choice we make. When we say we can't forgive someone that means we choose not to forgive that person, why not make the right choice and choose to forgive. It may be hard to forgive but it is even harder to hold a grudge.

ReplyDeleteI am not sure how forgiveness is the answer? How do you forgive someone whom has taken your kindness for weakness? I' am a Christian and I do believe in forgiveness, but I am not sure what to forgive for in this circumstance? Love thou neighbor, but what is it called when it is your family that is continuously doing the hurting? I would love to follow your path, but the lord has not lead me in that direction. I must follow the path of my lord and hopefully it will be in your path, if not then you must understand he knows best for me and my family. God Bless
ReplyDeleteYou ask how do you forgive someone whom has taken your kindness for weakness, I think by showing more kindness, show your family just how kind you are, we must always show our children that we are loving and kind and always forgiving. ReplyDeleteIt's very sad when family members have to establish their own convictions that cause others to become defensive. No relationship is worth it, regardless of what is the under lying meaning and purpose. I would like to suggest that this issue should be terminated and hopefully we have all learned that there is times when things just cannot be rectified.
